Calling all CZ Friends!

As some of you may have noticed, making healthy choices is not always the easiest (or most fun) thing to do. For some strange reason it seems that the most delicious things in life are the ones that pack the least amount of nutrients and impressive levels of fat, calories, sugar, salt...you know, all that stuff your doctors keep warning you about.

On the other hand, that healthy stuff tastes like cardboard...right? 

Well, here at the Comfort Zone we think we've found a middle ground, one where the tasty stuff isn't deep-fried, we can pronounce all of the ingredients in the soups, salads, and sandwiches, and you can still enjoy some cheesy, melted goodness. 

Here's where you come in.

We need a new sign for the front of the building and we thought this would be a good time to launch a new slogan that tells people what we have to offer when they are walking by. Hamburg has a lot of great choices for lunch and we would like people to consider coming to us if they're looking for some healthier options that still taste wonderful, but won't make them feel like they have to go running to the gym after work!

Cindy and I are working on marking our menu with items that would be considered Low Cal, Low Fat, Low Cholesterol, Vegan, etc. but in the meantime, here are some examples of what makes us feel we have something to offer everyone:

• All of our coffees are Organic.
• No MSG and all natural ingredients in the soups, sandwiches, and salads.
• Egg White Breakfast Sandwiches, Omelets, and Wraps available.
• Absolutely no deep-frying.
• Vegetarian and Gluten Free Options
• Seasonal Boats - ex) roasted and stuffed Sweet Potatoes, Spaghetti Squash, Zucchini - all natural, gluten free, and low calorie.
• Build your own Salads and Summer Salad Specials
• Skim Milk, Soy Milk, and Sugar Free options for all of our specialty drinks.

We are giving away a $50 gift card to the person who comes up with a new slogan for the Comfort Zone that expresses who we are, what we have to offer, and might encourage someone to come on in and check us out! We will review all of the ideas we get from our awesome fans and if we choose yours you win the prize (even if we tweak a word or two, you still get the credit if it was your idea!) There's a bonus $20 if you also come up with a good way to include it on the new sign we are having made for outside!

Have you ever noticed how much harder it is to write a bio for yourself or come up with a name for something you created? Sometimes you just need a little brainstorming session - it's teamwork! That's what this is, we're looking for a giant brainstorming session with the most qualified people out there - our customers who already know who we are and the feeling our slogan and sign need to portray!
